I mostly reblog what other people say. When I do write stuff, it's usually history geekery or parody.

My ask box is always open for victims of bullying by social justice warriors. I have anon off but I will answer everything privately. Just let me know to answer privately.

June 19, 1964: The Senate Passes Civil Rights Act
On this day in 1964, the Senate passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The act was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson on July 2. The landmark act barred discrimination based on race, color, religion, or national origin in public facilities — such as restaurants, theaters, or hotels. Discrimination in hiring practices was also outlawed.
The Civil Rights Act paved the way for future anti-discrimination legislation, including the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

For all the complaining I do about Tumblr social justice, I cannot complain when actual social justice is served.

If feminists put even a fraction of the effort they put into calling out shitty MRAs into calling out shitty members of their own damn movement maybe there wouldn’t be so many people that feel so completely alienated by feminism that they look elsewhere for equality movements.

You can’t seriously bag on someone for not being aware of something about yourself and then shout “It’s not my job to educate people about it” in the same blog post, Tumblr. Either educate or acknowledge that some people really just don’t know what the fuck a “demisexual otherkin therian neutrois femme presenting” is.

Sometimes, people don’t hate you because of your gender, sex, sexual orientation, size, religion (or lack thereof,) or political affiliation.

Sometimes people hate you because you have a shitty attitude.

These things just spread like a disease. Because people who watch Anita don’t even dare to question her, they wont even get curious and search it up, because everything Anita says is right, even if its just her opinion, not a fact. And it annoys me how she keeps pushing her opinions as facts. Its…

It’s never okay to tell someone to kill themself, especially over something so fucking trivial.

Unplug your computer and chuck it out a window until you can learn to behave like a decent human being.

Question

Anonymous asked: I've noticed Anita has many white knights. The problem with that is you can't criticize her without someone saying "SHUT UP WHITE MALE NECKBEARD!!1" or something to that effect. Even when the criticism has valid points and no threats at all.

I’m waiting for someone to break out the “straight white cismale feefees” card when they’re only half right. (I’m not a straight male.)

I’ve gotten used to her whiteknights. They can’t form any valid rebuttals other than crying “MISOGYNY.” They’re like those dolls with buttons that when you push them they repeat the same three phrases.

Oh fuck off, Sarkeesian. If there were more female protagonists we all know you’d just pick them apart to find something, anything, to call misogynistic and be offended over.

Before I tear apart your reblog, point to one thing I said in my original post that was misogynistic. Just one thing. I realize by your blog title openly proclaiming you are sexist this will be your greatest mental gymnastics challege yet but humor me.

There’s no fucking pleasing you. You only want to promote homogeneity in female characters. Once a female character formula that will shut your face is found that’s the only one they’ll go with and that’s bullshit.

Do you really hate diversity in characters that much? What will it take? An all female cast that’s perfect in every way dressed like the Amish that never speak of men ever? Last I checked we had a name for those types of characters.

And fuck you, Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite) may look like a Disney princess but she’s awesome. Don’t be hatin’ her.
